Discover All That Dentures Can Do for You
So with dentures, we are going to…again, it’s case selective. It’s a life-changing event, right? If you don’t have any teeth, you get a new set of teeth and it takes time to get used to them. We make sure that from the beginning of the appointment to tell you, “Hey, this is what to expect. It’s gonna take some time to get used to them and we’ll be right here with you along the way if we need to adjust them in terms of after we deliver the denture will be with you. We can realign them. We can do what we can to make them fit really well.”
Most of the dentures that we do actually we don’t need to do a lot of adjustments because from the beginning we do really well with taking our impressions and communicating with the lab, “Hey, this is what the patient wants. Here is our impression.” And we do a lot of different measurements with that in terms of chewing function and making sure we get the correct bite for them.
So from the beginning, we really want to make sure and we make sure that we don’t skip any steps so that towards the end of it we don’t have to do as much but as needed we can if we need to do any adjustments. So we’re there along with you because it is a big life change and, you know, you have to adapt to that. But they’re very good in terms of, you know, bringing back the patient’s chewing function, bringing back the smile that they’ve always had and that they wanted.
