Growing up, I had a lot of visits to the dental office. So, I had a lot of cavities. I love chocolate, I still do, love candy. I thought it was just the scariest place, right, in the world, but as I got older, like middle school, I kind of was very self-conscious in my smile. So, I’m like, I need to find ways to make my smile look better, you know, braces, all that good stuff. And I also love science, and I love working with my hands. So, I’m like, ooh, dentistry sounds really cool. And I have an uncle who’s also a dentist. So, he kind of inspired me a little bit as well. Kind of all of that put together. I’m like, this might be a cool career, and it is. And I love it.
Getting up in the morning and knowing that I’ll help one person, at least one person today, going to work, whether that be getting them out of pain or talking about what they would like their smile to look like or even just a small filling. I think in addition to that is making them feel comfortable while I’m doing that. Like I said, you know, being in a dental office, it’s not the most pleasant place in the world. So, I think going in there and saying hi to the patient, getting to know them, and making them feel comfortable is really rewarding. I went to the University of Kentucky. I got my bachelor’s degree in human nutrition. And then shortly after that, I went over to the West Coast to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. And that was from the University of California, San Francisco.

This dental office is not only compromised of knowledgeable professionals, but they’re also a very friendly group of people. From this office’s early days of just Dr Harvey, and Susan, his trusty hygienist, to its growth into the impressive office it’s become with 3 dentists, several hygienists and a large, capable team to support them. I was in caring, capable hands when I first entered this office 15 years ago, and I’m still in friendly capable hands today. My teeth and gums are healthy, which keeps my lips smiling. So Go Team Go, and keep on spreading those pretty smiles!

Couldn’t be happier with my experience. I called a few other dentists who couldn’t get me in until June; Dr. Nichols was able to schedule me for the next day! The staff was super friendly and communicative throughout the process – I’ll definitely be coming back for future dental needs.

This is one of the best places I have ever been to have dental work. The staff ( Dr. Nichols’s, Tasha, Andrea, Beverley and more) I highly recommend it. I had a root canal crack from a previous place and the team there went right to work on how it fit me best to fix it. In the end I got a new bridge. I have also had two cleaning and a crown. The work was outstanding.

Great Visit! Staff is awesome! The best cleaning that I have ever had at a Dentist office! Dr Nichols did a great job at explaining the treatment plan. I am looking forward to getting the work completed.

I had an excellent experience. In fact, I have an excellent experience every time I visit Dr. Nichols. The staff is fantastic and the culture is excellent. Typically, we accept dreading the dentist as part of life, but you don’t have to when you go to Dr. Nichols! I would definitely recommend checking them out!

I was looking for a dentist and Harvey and Nichols was recommended to me. They were very friendly and understanding. I hadn’t bwen to a dentist in 4 years and they were able to get me in to see Dr. Glesson the day after I called. Thank you so much for your caring and compassion.

Chipped my tooth, and Dr. Nichols was able to get me in the next day. His office assistants were very nice, and Dr. Nichols did a great job repairing my filling. Will definitely be returning for all my dental work.

Best dentist I’ve been to in all of my 47 years. Everyone is so nice and courteous, and happy. They make you feel welcomed, and all dentist don’t do that. I would definitely recommend them to my friends, family and even strangers. They’re awesome.

I had an emergency. Part of a filling fell out. They got my in same day, less than 2 hours from the incident. Dr Nichols is funny, caring and does excellent work. I’m a nervous wreck and both his dental assistants and he make sure that we have nothing to worry about.

I’ve been coming there about 2 years. Sherry always does a wonderful job and she is very gentle and I appreciate that. I’ve also had a crown done and coming back for another one. I wouldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Great job! Thanks 😊
