See How We Do Restorative Dentistry
When people come in, if you’re missing a tooth, it’s, you know, I try to gauge from the get-go, here are your options. You know, when you’re missing a tooth, you don’t have to do anything. You can do a partial, you can do a bridge, you do an implant. You know, these are your options. Here’s kind of the roundabout costs associated with these options. But ultimately, I want to do whatever you want to have done.
So, being able to offer all those options, and give the patients, you know, all the information they need to make an educated decision. Hey, here’s what’s involved with this. Here’s what the outcome is going to be. Here’s going to be your satisfaction level, and just being able to give them what they want.
I think being in the profession, obviously, teeth are super important to me. They serve several functions. Obviously, you want to chew, you want to talk. And if people are missing teeth, cosmetically it can cause some self-confidence or appearance issues. So, if you don’t have enough teeth, eating becomes a problem. Talking can become a problem, but really cosmetically and self-confidence is…
So, try to check one of those boxes. Hey, if you’re missing a tooth or two in the back, right, it’s not the end of the world. To some people, they want a fix. Some people don’t care. Again, it goes back to treat people the way they want to be treated.
Now, if you’re missing a front tooth, it serves function as well as, you know, there’s a little stigma sometimes involved with that. So, just being able to give people what they want, so they have the self-confidence and ability to do what they want to do with their mouth.
