Discover Our Approach to Dental Crowns and Bridges
What it does is, you know, it protects that tooth fully so it doesn’t, it is very strong in terms of if you’re eating, chewing forces are not as heavy on that tooth itself. So basically with that, it’s two appointments with a crown. So we see you, we numb you really well, again, make you feel comfortable, remove decay as needed, build the tooth back up as needed, and then make a preparation of the tooth.
So basically, think about it as making a miniature of that tooth. So I’m shaving here and there, which feels like a lot when I’m in there, but it’s actually we’re shaving a little bit, a very small amount, just enough for a crown to fit in there and protect that tooth permanently.

Regain the Function of Your Teeth by Getting Crowns or Bridges
At our practice, you can repair damaged teeth with crowns. You also can replace teeth with our restorations. Dental implants will make your replacement teeth even stronger. Because we use advanced CEREC technology, our team can even make a crown for you in a single visit. There’s no need for the hassle of a temporary restoration and a second trip to our office!
You can come to us for any of these services:
-
Single Crown
Crowns are an effective way to fix teeth that are broken, cracked, and decayed. You can get crowns to cap a tooth after a root canal. Crowns also can provide cosmetic benefits for misshapen, small, and discolored teeth.
-
Fixed Bridge
A traditional bridge is used to replace a missing tooth or teeth. The crowns on each end of the bridge are affixed to nearby teeth, which have been reshaped to support your restoration.
-
Implant-Supported Crown
If you are missing a tooth, you can effectively create a complete replacement with this combination. Since your implant acts as a root, it keeps your crown secure and also stimulates your jaw so you avoid bone loss.
-
Implant-Supported Bridge
If you are missing multiple teeth, you can place dental implants to hold your bridge in place. This way, you don’t need to do anything to your remaining healthy teeth. Plus, implants protect you from the bone loss that occurs with missing teeth.

Common Question
Common Questions About Dental Crowns and Bridges

What can dental crowns and bridges be used for?
Dental crowns and bridges can be used in a wide variety of ways to restore damaged and missing teeth. We can use a single crown for repairing a tooth or, with a dental implant, replacing a missing tooth. A bridge is designed to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring to either your other teeth or dental implants.
Will insurance cover dental crowns and bridges?
Most dental insurance plans will cover at least a portion of your new dental crown or bridge. We can help you check the specifics on your individual policy to see what is covered and to determine how much of the cost you’ll be responsible for. We also offer third-party financing options through CareCredit.
How long do crowns and bridges last?
The length of life you can expect from your new crown or bridge can vary, depending on several factors. The position of the restoration will make a difference, as will the material that the crown or bridge is made from. Your eating habits and oral care routine will also play a role. In general, however, most patients will get at least five to seven years out of a crown or bridge before it needs replacement.
How much do dental crowns and bridges cost?
Because dental crowns and bridges are used in many different ways, the price for your new crown or bridge can vary significantly. We encourage you to schedule a consultation so your dentist can examine your mouth and create a treatment plan. At that time, we can give you an accurate price on your dental repair.
